Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DopaRise (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the DopaRise mobile app and doparise.com.
1. Who we are
DopaRise is a habit-tracking app. You can log daily habits, follow a personal score and streak, take an onboarding assessment, connect with other users, and receive optional reminders.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account data. If you create an account: email address, password (stored by our authentication provider, not in readable form), and username.
- Profile and social data. Username, whether your profile is public, follow relationships, buddy (accountability) contracts (including an optional note when you send an invite), and activity you share with people in your network. Activity events can include streak milestones and that you completed certain habits (for example sleep, meditation, or exercise). The app does not currently let you set a bio or profile photo.
- Habit and progress data. Daily check-ins (including sleep, exercise, meditation, water, reading, sunlight, cold shower, screen time, smoke-free status, alcohol, and junk food), scores, streaks, onboarding answers, reading progress, smoke-free history, and app settings. Without an account this stays on your device. If you create an account, we copy it to our cloud database linked to your user ID so you can restore progress after reinstall or on a new device. Signed-in social activity events (described above) are also stored so they can appear in your network’s feed.
- Notifications. If you enable reminders, we store your notification preferences. Reminders are scheduled on your device. We do not send remote push notifications (no FCM or APNs).
- Technical data. The app checks network connectivity to talk to our servers. Timezone is used only to schedule local reminders. When you have an account we also store last-open dates used to sync your progress.
We do not collect precise location, contacts from your address book, photos from your camera roll, payment card details, or advertising identifiers. We do not run third-party analytics or ads SDKs. We do not use collected data for advertising or tracking.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure your account, and reset your password.
- Provide habit tracking, scores, streaks, and insights.
- Sync signed-in progress so you can restore it after reinstall.
- Power social features (search, follow, buddies, activity).
- Schedule optional on-device reminders you turn on.
- Operate and maintain the app and website.
4. Where data is stored
Account, profile, social, notification preferences, and — when you are signed in — habit progress and daily logs are stored with Supabase, our authentication and database provider. A copy also stays in local storage on your device so the app works offline. Social activity events are stored in the cloud so they can appear in your network’s feed.
Password-reset emails use a link on this website (doparise.com/reset-password).
5. Third-party services
We use a small set of processors to run the app:
- Supabase — account authentication, cloud database, and progress sync.
- Google Fonts — typography in the app.
If you log reading with a book title and pages, that is stored with your other progress when you have an account.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With the processors listed above, to operate the service.
- With other DopaRise users, to the extent your profile is public or you use social features (follow, buddies, activity).
- If required by law, or to protect the service and its users.
7. Permissions
DopaRise may ask for notification permission so it can remind you to log habits. You can deny or later turn this off in system settings and in the app. Vibration may be used for haptic feedback if you leave that setting on.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep account and cloud data, including synced progress, while your account exists. Local habit data stays on your device until you clear it or uninstall the app.
In the app you can sign out, reset today’s check-in, or reset all app data (Settings). Reset all app data clears progress on this device and the cloud copy for that account. It does not delete the account itself.
To permanently delete your account and associated cloud data, open Settings → Account → Delete account, confirm with your password, and confirm deletion. This removes your authentication account, profile, synced progress, and social data. It cannot be undone. You can create a new account later with the same email.
If you cannot access the app, email ivan.hodynchuk77@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will help complete deletion.
9. Children
DopaRise is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us. You can also make your profile private in Settings so it is hidden from username search.
11. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States and the European Union. We use them only as needed to provide the app.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of DopaRise after an update means you accept the revised policy.
13. Contact
